Do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere. You will be full of anxiety at any Arnel Property.
Here's why. Predatory towing of tenants' cars. Cars are broken into repeatedly. See my photos where my passenger window was smashed.
Arnel would not give me their insurance underwriter for filing a claim. Catalytic converters stolen from cars. Strange people roam the property in the midnight hours. There is a false expectation of safety.
The gates allow in anyone. There's a fake video camera under the eave of the complex when turning right past the entrance gate. See my photo. It doesn't work.
The patrol is not there to protect tenant property or tenants. Instead, they are to collude with the very unethical towing company To and Mo to tow cars in the midnight hours when tenants are asleep.
Cheap materials in the apartments. I asked for my bathroom vanity sink to be repaired. No response.
Termites everywhere. See my photos. You have to pay for water, sewer, trash, electricity and gas. Arnel created the water billing company to make even more money off tenants.
Arnel unfairly keeps security deposits. They do not honor walk-throughs. I was told by the lead maintenance man not even to bother cleaning the apartment because I wouldn't get it back. I left the apartment clean and still haven't gotten it back.
Arnel settled with the California Attorney General for $1.5 million for unfairly keeping security deposits. I'm going to complain to the Attorney General to show they are back at it again.
My patio door was smashed in by someone apparently who wanted to rob my apartment. Thankfully, someone must have heard the smash and scared the intruder.
A tenant, Yu Fang Tan was shot in an attempted carjacking in the ungated portion of the common area of his apartment complex owned by Arnel. Instead of settling with Tan, Arnel fought him in court for his damages.
Unbelievable. Tan eventually prevailed. One thing you should know is that in court documents, the assailants said the apartment complex was "a good place to rob somebody" because there was no gate to impede their escape. The same could be said about the gates at Wimbledon Glen opening all the time.
Anyone could get through both gates. Look up Tan v. Arnel Management.
When I first looked at Wimbledon Glen, the property manager showed me where my garage was going to be --- FOR WHICH I PAID EXTRA. She pretended not to be able to open the garage.
I didn't know I would be SHARING my garage space with two other tenants on either side of me! Throughout the years, my neighbors who shared the garage had items stolen.
Julianne Argyros, if you're reading this review, you should know what is going on with your properties. Culture starts at the top. Your employees are not tenant or customer-centric.
Bring to code, update, and modernize the apartments. Look at the termite damage and cheap materials!
Casey P., the property manager, plays games. She will tell you one thing and then suddenly forget or lie. Arnel has more lawsuits against them than The Irvine Company.

Arnel's response to my review is nothing more than a template. If they read my email, it says they didn't honor a walk-through or give me back the cleaning deposit.
Clearly, it's a bot responding to my review.
Arnel Management and Julianne Argyros, you can pay me back my security deposit, repair the broken window, and illegal tow. That would be fair.

Complaint about the manager of Pheasant Ridge I

The manager of Pheasant Ridge is the worst ever seen on this planet!
The manager of Pheasant Ridge I is the worst person I have met during my travel in the US so far. Manager Karissa didn’t explain the lease contract to me nor give me a copy of lease contract, but in the end she charge me one more month rent plus late interest.
For God’s sake, how you image a foreign travel know all your local practice and rules? I am sure based on my experience she purposely set the short-term residents up by not giving them enough information and in the end blames all the fault on the residents. Her fault costs me more than $2000. She simply said “you should have known the result” and put all responsibilities onto resident.
She is the worst manager I ever seen during travel in so many counties. The biggest problem in her work is that she treats tourists and local people differently. She does treat the local people with due courtesy, but with foreigners NO... she is negligent and arrogant towards tourists.
That is fine, but her fault costs me more than $2000! No wonder so many residents curse that woman. Such manager is terrible. Arnel management is very blessed to have such employee if the company’s reputation is not going to *** If I am not a tourist and have to continue my travel plan, I would definitely initiate a law suit against that evil woman.
That place is not good with tourists and short-term residents.
I don’t know about the long-term, but I am sure I would not come back as customer never again!
Because the manager is evil. Stay away from evil!

Unethical manager at the Pheasant Ridge Apartments in Rowlan
Garage door remote broken; Many thanks to Nicole, Pedro and Arturo for resolving the issue
My garage door remote was giving me some problems. The door would not open.
Nicole asked me to bring my remote to the office in order to replace the battery. The next day, Pedro came to my garage unit, confirmed the battery was weak, but it was working; however he also could not resolve the problem. Arturo had the day off, but he came to the garage unit to help. Between the two of them, the issue was resolved.
Appeared something was actually wrong with the remote. I'd like to thank all three of these kind people in attending to my problem and solving it quickly. One knows how annoying it can be to have these kinds of problems. Nicole is always so thoughtful and helps to solve any issues I have ever had.
The maintenance team are hard working. Their attention to detail and even going out of their way to help is always refreshing. Many kudos to Nicole, Pedro and Arturo!

I have two neighbors who smoke and they were only reminded of the leasing agreement. My downstairs neighbor also recently assaulted me by throwing her cigarette at me and burning my jacket.
She has been taunting my family and writing my dog's name on the tree. It's awful and a hostile living situation.
